Artist's Comments

Playng around with a potential visual style for this story/strip/comic thing. Sorry, no post-apoc crap, not anymore. Instead you get to deal with airplanes and pilots. 8D

Dex spends too much time studying and not enough time having fun.

Based on a true story, only this happened on the bus and I was drawing Beer, Noodles, and Three Cheese Ranch Dressing on the other page.

Siekre belongs to :iconlaurenslife:/:iconsiekre: who is probably the most entertaining person to watch draw.

Strange, all my rocketships turn into trees... :XD: The new style looks good too, the darker lines make it easier to read! :D

FOR (picture[1]) to (picture[++]) do;
Quality(picture++) -> Quality(picture[1])/6 + Quality(picture[++-1]);
UNTIL Quality -> "Unbelieviably awesome!"

xD That's why you say "I'm going to draw SOMETHING."
And then scribble and go "It's something..."

<Tierdaen> i'm pretty open about music...i can listen to just about whatever's playing in the porno

*laughs* Wow, you have no idea how often that happens to me...I rarely end up drawing what I intended to.
:iconvantn:
things never seem to go the way they are intended XD

hard work and dedication look like luck to other people, but you know that you earned every bit of your sucess.

I see SHIBUMI! *giggles like a dumbass* Like a turd, I read this backwards, because I have been reading too much Trigun. So I had to read it twice, since the first time was a "wtf" moment.

I agree with R-J-Pilot, the darker outlines easily distinguish each of the characters and all that it around them, it makes it very easy to follow and navigate overall. The only thing I'd say could use a small change is the panel separations, Keep the panel border thick like you have, but add white or black space between them. With only a single line the panels may start to run together and then the comic becomes confusing. The caption box too, I almost missed it when I read it, it would be best to place the box towards the top left corner of a panel and have it floating instead of right against the panel borders. I say the top left because that is where the eye automatically goes when it starts in on a new panel, and to have it on the bottom gives the impression that it comes after the speech bubble. It's not a big thing, but it can cause a little confusion if the comic was longer than it is.

This happens to me a lot too, start with something specific in mind and end up with something totally unrelated. Only I can't go "I'm going to draw *insert subject matter*!", since I have no roomies.

* Ooh, forgot, I find it highly amusing that "sweet" is Dex's answer to everything in tune-out mode. It would have been hilarious if she had said "sweet" again in an out-of-panel speech bubble after Seikre said "This is a great rocketship!"

haaaaahahaahahhaa~

Yes, it seems to be a repetitive thing. I'll start drawing one thing... ten minutes later, it's not the thing I BEGAN drawing..
